Street Entertainment/Busking Authorisations

Authorisations for entertainment in the Above Bar Pedestrian Precinct and Bargate areas of the city centre are issued by the City Development & Economy Division of Economic Development.

How do I apply?
Complete and submit the application form (see the related documents links on the right). Please note that authorisation for entertainment can only be given in the areas shown in the application form. Please allow a minimum of eight working days before the Entertainment Authorisation is due to start and ensure that the application gives exact dates. The authorisation will not be "open" - performances may only take place on the days listed on the authorisation.

The completed application form may be submitted by email, but a signed hard copy is still required.
