Volunteering Opportunities

Would you like to get back into work, improve your CV, or do you fancy a career change? If so, volunteering could be the answer....

As a volunteer for Southampton Day Services, you will be offered in-house training, have the opportunity to learn new skills, and will work with our Volunteer Co-ordinator who will support you in your role, and help you to progress.

Our volunteers provide a valuable, high-quality service to our clients. Typical activities include: supporting an individual in one of the day services bases, helping people to access the community, or supporting people within their workplace. As one of our volunteers, you can do as many or as few hours as you want, and at times that suit you. You will be fully reimbursed for any costs that you incur.

If you would like to be a volunteer or have more questions please contact the City Limits office on 023 8091 7585 or on citylimits.employment@southampton.gov.uk. Alternatively, you can download a volunteer application form.

All of our volunteers must complete a Criminal Records Bureau check before they are able to work with our clients. For more information on this, please see the link below.
