Getting married at the Civic Centre

The Council Chamber, Municipal Balcony, Conference Rooms 3 and 4 and the Mayors Reception Room in the Civic Centre building are licensed for Civil Weddings. The City Art Gallery also has a licence.

Below are the charges for each room:

Please note:

Ceremony room bookings cover a maximum of 3 hours only.

There is an additional charge of £40.00 per hour to cover security and staffing costs.

Wedding receptions can be held in Conference Room 3 (3 and 4 when there are a large number of people attending). You can discuss catering arrangements with Sally Belding, the Wedding Co-ordinator.
