Harefield community centre can be hired by community groups and private users for one off or regular activities. Currently the centre is home to several groups including a sequence dancing class, bingo and a community mothers and toddlers group. The centre has a fully licensed bar which is available for functions and a thriving social club.
Volunteer at Harefield community centre
The centre is run by local volunteers who are responsible for the day to day running of the community centre and are always happy to hear from potential new volunteers. Are you interested in your local community and helping run a community meeting place? Anyone living in the area who would like to help is welcome to join. All types of skills are needed; secretaries, treasurers and lettings officers etc. If you don’t want a specific role don’t worry. All centres want community minded, enthusiastic people to help whatever their level of involvement. Most volunteers find it only takes a couple of hours a month.
The social club has memberships available at £12 per year.
