Merryoak community centre is housed in an old school building but has been completely refurbished. The centre has a large light hall and a fully kitted out computer room which can also be used for meetings. The rooms can be hired by community groups and private users for one off or regular activities. Currently a youth club, computer club, martial arts groups and Sure Start among others use the facilities. All are welcome, please call for more details and times.

Merryoak community centre needs your help to stay open

After years of dedicated volunteering some of the people who help run the centre are leaving. It has been a hard decision for them as they have worked hard to make the centre available for local residents, groups and clubs. The centre hosts many activities every week for the young, old, and everyone in between. The centre can also be hired for birthday parties and community events making it the hub of the local community. Your community needs you to help keep this facility running.
