St Denys community centre was reopened in 2006 after a big rebuild and extension. It has five rooms, a large hall and a sound-proofed band room available for hire. The floodlit outdoor, hard court multi-use games area is completely enclosed. A cafe area and fully equipped changing rooms make the centre a highly used facility.
The centre is bursting with activities including yoga and pilates, Chinese brush painting, youth clubs and an older person's club. There is room for a few more regular activities and the hall can be hired for private parties.

Volunteer at St Denys community centre
The centre is run by local volunteers who are responsible for the day to day running of the community centre and are always happy to hear from potential new volunteers. Are you interested in your local community and helping run a community meeting place? Anyone living in the area who would like to help is welcome to join. All types of skills are needed; secretaries, treasurers and lettings officers etc. If you don’t want a specific role don’t worry. All centres want community minded, enthusiastic people to help whatever their level of involvement. Most volunteers find it only takes a couple of hours a month.
