Townhill Park community centre has been reopened as a superb new facility. It is a shared building between the community association and Children's Services. The new community building is providing a focal point for a variety of activities for the local community. At the centre they already have beavers, cubs, scouts, hip hop and street dance, and zumba sessions. If you'd like to book a room at the new centre for a party, or to start a new activity please contact them.

Townhill Park's spring newsletter can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.

Annual General Meeting

Townhill Park Community Association (reg. charity 276972) are holding their Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 22nd May 2012 at 7pm in the main hall.

Come along and find out what the group has already achieved, and how you can become involved too. The AGM will include election of officers and making changes to the constitution to bring it up to date.

If you have a couple of hours spare a month then come along and join the association and help make the area a better and safer place to live.

Following the AGM there will be a fun and informal quiz night, with refreshments provided.

Volunteer at Townhill Park community centre

The new centre is run by local volunteers who are responsible for the day to day running of the community centre and are always happy to hear from potential new volunteers. Are you interested in your local community and helping run a community meeting place? Anyone living in the area who would like to help is welcome to join. All types of skills are needed; secretaries, treasurers and lettings officers etc. If you don’t want a specific role don’t worry. All centres want community minded, enthusiastic people to help whatever their level of involvement. Most volunteers find it only takes a couple of hours a month.

If you wish to be part of the new era or would just like to offer a helping hand the committee would be very happy to hear from you.
