Townhill Park community centre

Townhill Park community centre has been reopened as a superb new facility. It is a shared building between the community association and Children's Services. The new community building is providing a focal point for a variety of activities for the local community. At the centre they already have beavers, cubs, scouts, hip hop and street dance, and zumba sessions. If you'd like to book a room at the new centre for a party, or to start a new activity please contact them.

2. Volunteer

The centre is run by local volunteers who are responsible for the day to day running of the community centre and are always happy to hear from potential new volunteers. The Community Association needs more Committee Members to help make decisions over how the centre is managed, promoted and help with access to the centre for user groups etc. All they ask is you are community minded and enthusiastic, and most volunteers find it only takes a couple of hours a month. Anyone living in the area who would like to help is welcome. If you'd like to find out more please contact the centre.

Notes:
1. Rents will be reviewed annually
2. Rents for all rooms will include the use of the kitchen.
3. If just the kitchen is to be used, then there will be a charge of £4 per hour.
4. Refundable deposits (£50) for “private” hire will be taken, but not for regular non-private bookings.
