There are several funding databases available, some of which you can search yourself online. There are thousands of potential funders in the UK. These databases give you a starting point for further research. In order to carry out a search you will need to know:

This free website provides access to thousands of funding and finance opportunities. It also has a wealth of tools and resources to help organisations develop sustainable incomes. You can sign up for a weekly newsletter, which will keep you up to date with funding news.
The European Information Centre (EIC), working in partnership with the council, subscribe to GRANTnet. This is a service which helps individuals, companies and voluntary groups to find sources of funding. Please click on the GRANTnet link at the bottom of this page to access the on-line database.
Once you have registered with GRANTnet, you will be e-mailed a password which will allow you to gain access. Having logged onto the system you must answer a few simple questions about yourself and the project you wish to undertake; GRANTnet will then provide an overview of all the schemes available. Once you have decided which schemes could benefit you then e-mail the EIC and we will send you the full details within 48 hours. This additional service is totally free for residents of Southampton. If you live outside the city there will be a small charge to provide full details.
