Running Costs Fund
On 27th October the Interim Director for Environment made the decision to renew 2011/12 grants for another year to 31st March 2013, subject to satisfactory monitoring. Details of the decision are available in the council decision making pages. All organisations that will receive a grant in 2012/13 were sent a letter on 4th November 2011 with details of their provisional grant award.
The grants are provisional subject to satisfactory completion of the attached renewal application form, financial appendix and submission of their latest annual report and accounts. The renewal application forms have been sent to the relevant organisations and must be submitted by Friday 6th January 2012.

The council is currently conducting consultation on grant schemes for 2013/14 and beyond. Please see the consultation page for more details.
New Projects Fund
As grants from this scheme are time limited no New Projects Fund grants have been renewed in 2012/13. The future of the New Projects Fund is also part of the current consultation on grant schemes 2013/14 and beyond.
Community Chest
The Community Chest scheme has not been changed and will be run in two rounds in 2012/13 as usual. The scheme will open for applications from March 2012.
Local Improvements Grant
The Local Improvements Grant scheme has not been affected by the above changes. The current round closes on 16th December 2011 and there will be two more rounds in 2012/13. The dates for these rounds will be confirmed early next year.
