Housing developers

Regent-HouseSouthampton City Council works with housing associations and developers to provide new affordable housing in the city. Developers building new homes in the city are required to provide some of these homes as affordable housing. The amount of affordable housing is governed by our planning policies please follow the links to find out more.

If you are a developer and want to find out more about our requirements and how you can work with the council please contact us. The Council meets quarterly with developers and housing associations to discuss the development of housing and how we can work in partnership to meet the affordable housing needs in Southampton.

Contact the Housing Development & Strategy Team for further information about the ‘Developer Liaison Meetings’ and to be included on the invitation list.
