Service User Consultation and Representation
Service users continue to be involved in decisions on how to refurbish Patrick House. All steel fabrications for refurbishments have been produced by the Patrick House Workshops (also known as the Spark Fabrication and Framing Services in accordance with the government’s SPARK 09 programme), and all steel fabrications for the Day Centre will be similarly commissioned.
Service users are also being regularly consulted on the Cranbury Day Centre works schedule. There is also a clause included in the works tender document ensuring there are employment and training opportunities for users. Service users are also involved in the ‘Documenting the Change’ photographic initiative for the project.
