Projects for the homeless

Patrick-House-01The government’s ‘Places of Change’ (PoC) programme is an important strand of it’s strategy for tackling homelessness in the country.

In May 2008, the government's department for Communities and Local Government, awarded a PoC grant of £776,000 to support a £1m project to upgrade both the Cranbury Day Centre and Patrick House Hostel to increase their capabilities for meeting the changing needs of local homeless people. For current or future projects and updates contact Tel: 023 8083 2346 or 023 8083 2547.

What the improvements will mean

The proposed physical improvements will make the buildings safer, more accessible and user friendly, and will lead to greater inclusiveness, access to other services, and better opportunities for skills development amongst service users.
