Council Tenants

Council tenants can contact Gateway at One Guildhall Square (opposite Southampton Guildhall), for general enquiries or their local housing office. Here you will find advice on setting up a tenants' association and learn about supported tenancies enabling people to live independently in the community. Reporting Repairs

How do I report a repair to my council property? You can report repairs online or find out more information about repairs. We also have details about the Handy Person Service which is a free or low cost service to carry our minor repairs for certain residents over 60.

Paying your council rent

The prompt and regular payment of your rent is your responsibility. We have a variety of methods to pay. If you fall into arrears do not ignore the problem get in touch with us straight away, we are here to help you.

The Tenants Handbook

You should have received a copy of your Tenants Handbook when you moved into your property however, we have placed a copy online. You will also find information on your Tenancy Agreement, change of tenancy name, repairs and much more.

Anti Social Behaviour on Estates

If you want to report an incident of anti social behaviour, maybe littering or graffiti, then report it here.

Special Decorating Scheme

Did you know that, subject to conditions, you may be entitled to have two rooms decorated for you absolutely FREE under the council's Special Decorating scheme?
