Housing and Support for Older People

Supported Housing - Housing for older peopleWe are committed to providing housing and support to older people throughout Southampton giving you choice, security and independence.

Through this commitment we provide three types of supported housing:

  • Extra Care Housing: for older, more vulnerable people who may also require some type of care as well as support
  • 60Plus Housing: for people over the age of 60 who wish to live in a supported environment with people of a similar age
  • 50Plus Housing: for people over the age of 50 who wish to live with people of a similar age and who may or may not require support

All our properties have emergency pull cords which enable you to contact our Community Alarm Service 24 hours a day should you need to. Further information on these types of housing can be found in the documents below.

As well as housing we can provide a support service to people over the age of 60 who do not live in the accommodation mentioned above. Please contact us on the details below for further information.
