Hinkler ParadeHinkler Parade

We are excited to say that the development is now well underway and already transforming the Hinkler Parade area.

The successful developer, Barratt Homes, in partnership with First Wessex Housing are building a scheme which includes 106 new homes with 30% meeting Southampton City Council's Family Homes policy, 5 new retail units and a community facility. The £16m redevelopment will continue to act as a vibrant centre to the local area.

The local community have been involved in the project from the start and the plans were received positively by over 100 local residents who attended events on the parade during September.
Hinkler Parade is the first project within Southampton City Council’s ambitious Estate Regeneration Programme which is working towards transforming several sites across the city.

Well over 200 people have attended consultation events and completed questionnaires already. The council will continue to involve the community in developing the proposals of the Hinkler Parade site. So there will be plenty of opportunities for you to have your say.
