Your Smartcities card can give you access to the leisure centres* in Southampton run by Active Nation and Mytimegolf with Southampton City Council.

Active Nation have launched a range of exciting new activities aimed at getting the Nation more active!

Little Sports Club Launch - Active Nation are launching a new range of activities for children who are at walking age to 4 years old. These sessions have been designed to develop agility, balance and co-ordination and will take place at the Quays and at Chamberlayne Leisure Centre. A 6 week course costs just £30. Tai Chi & Yoga classes - Active Nation run a number of group classes which operate on a pay as you go basis and you do not have to be a member to access these classes! We are delivering weekly Tai Chi classes on a Tuesday afternoon from 2-3pm and a Friday morning from 11am-12pm. We also offer Ashtanga Yoga on a Tuesday morning from 8.15-9.15am & a Sunday morning from 10.00 -11.45. These classes cost just £5.50 per session and you can book onto a class 7 days in advance. Free Veracity Activity programme - Active Nation are delivering a wide range of activities for children and adults on the veracity recreation ground and in the multi use games area. We are running Netball and outdoor fitness sessions for adults, and basketball competitions, dodge ball sessions and football sessions for children. All of theses activities are completely free and delivered by a qualified coach or instructor. Swimming - Remember Active Nation still offers free swimming to all children under the aged of eight when accompanied by a paying adult. And we are still offering subsidised group swim lessons at the Quays and Bitterne Leisure Centre for £144 for a group of 8 adults at a range of off peak and peak times.
