Our cemeteries are open every day of the year and are only closed overnight for security reasons. All of our cemeteries are easily accessible by public transport

Working with local communities and other organisations we are constantly looking at ways of improving our cemeteries maintenance and security. If you have any thoughts or ideas on improvements we can make, please let us know.
Our cemeteries are managed under the local Authorities Cemeteries Order (1977) – which set out the rules and regulations for cemetery management. The full guidelines are available by downloading the pdf at the bottom of this page.
We ask all visitors to our cemeteries to treat them with respect and sensitivity.
