We have two chapels, both of which have a dedicated chapel attendant who will be on hand to ensure your service runs smoothly.
Both chapels have comfortable waiting rooms and toilet facilities and we also sell refreshments.
The East Chapel can accommodate 160 mourners (of which 126 can be seated). For services where larger numbers are expected we can arrange an outside speaker broadcast – please contact us in advance to arrange this.
Southampton Crematorium West Chapel
The West Chapel is suited for the smaller and more intimate service. This chapel is often chosen for the smaller farewell. We can accommodate 70 mourners (of which 45 can be seated)
Both chapels are fitted with induction loops for those guests who are hard of hearing.
For those of you who would like music played as a way of welcome to your ceremony, or during the ceremony, we use the Wesley music system which to date has met 99.7% of requests made to us for music. You can find more information on how to arrange this by clicking on the music link below.
Whichever chapel you choose to hold your service in, you can be assured that we will do everything we can to provide you with a dedicated, personal service in honour of the person whose life you are commemorating.
