Bitterne Park

Bitterne Park ward covers the areas of Bitterne Park, Bitterne Manor and parts of Bitterne and Townhill Park. It has a population of around 13,500 and neighbouring wards are Portswood, Swaythling, Harefield and Peartree. Bitterne Park is bounded by the River Itchen and it is possible to walk along it from Cobden Bridge to Mansbridge. There are many parks, open spaces and play areas such as Riverside Park, Bitterne Manor, Deep Dene, Ozier Road, Meggeson Avenue and Woodmill. There is a district shopping area with a variety of national and independent shops.
