Sholing ward is in the east of the city and has a population of around 13,800. Neighbouring wards are Bitterne, Woolston and Peartree. The ward has lots of semi detached houses with large gardens. It also has large areas of green space and woodland including part of the Shoreburs Greenway and Millers Pond.
