RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting of the Chief Officer Employment Panel held on 27th March, 2013 be approved and signed as a correct record.

Chair to move that in accordance with the Council's Constitution, specifically the Access to Information Procedure Rules contained within the Constitution, the press and public be excluded from the meeting in respect of the following Item.

Confidential report of the Head of Legal, HR and Democratic Services detailing considerations in regard to the appointment of a chief executive officer for the Council, attached.

The confidential report of the Head of Legal, HR and Democratic Services was submitted detailing considerations in regard to the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer for the Council (copy of report circulated with the agenda and appended to signed minutes).

 

RESOLVED that the long list of candidates graded A together with two of the candidates graded B* for the position of Chief Executive as presented by the Council’s recruitment consultants Berwick Partners be approved.
