We the undersigned petition the council to Submit a Bid to Host Commonwealth Games 2022 either stand alone or jointly with Wales Cities
The Commonwealth Games Foundation CGF has declared that it would consider a joint bid for 2022 Games after Durban was stopped off the Host Status in March. The UK Government has called onto any British Cities with Interest to submit their plans. Southampton City Council Leaders remain tight lipped if they have or if they will be submitting their plans for possible Hosting the CoWg 2022.
