Consultation process

The UK100 Net Zero Pledge is aligned with the principles proposed in the draft Net Zero Strategy and subsequent draft Climate Change strategy and Action Plan. Both have been subject to internal and public consultation in their development.

Consultees

The Net Zero Strategy and subsequent draft Climate Change strategy and Action Plan have been presented to a range of council departments and services throughout the development process. The public consultation was promoted through SCC's media channels and a range of businesses, community and business groups were directly invited to contribute.
