To consider a report of the Cabinet Member for Resources and Workforce Planning seeking approval of matters relating to the sale of land in Westridge Road .
The report details an offer made to the Council by a supermarket operator to purchase the Westridge Road Car park so that it can be brought to a higher standard and also be used in conjunction with adjacent land to serve a proposed new supermarket. The new owner will be legally obliged to provide free short term parking to shoppers whether they visit the proposed new supermarket or not, the public conveniences will be removed and new toilets available to the public will be provided within the new supermarket
