Councillor Jacqui Rayment has represented Bevois Ward in Southampton as a Labour Councillor since 2002. She has been a Councillor since 1997, and became Cabinet Member for Environment and Transport on 16 July 2013 and Deputy Leader of the Council on 18th May 2016.
Having been born in Southampton, Jacqui knows the city and its diverse communities well, and has worked to support many local residents with the issues that concern them. She has held a number of Portfolios which included a range of Council Services including Community Safety, Health & Well Being, Adult Social Care and Enforcement she also chaired the SCC Change board.
In 2006 she was elected as Chair of the Hampshire Police Authority until its demise in 2012, having served on the board since 1997.
