Biography:
I was a councillor for Peartree Ward from 1995 to 1997 and was re-elected
as a councillor for Bitterne Ward in
May 2003.
I have served as the Labour Group Housing spokesperson, Children's
Services spokesperson, and Chair of Children's Services Scrutiny
Panel, Health and Housing Scrutiny.
I am a teacher by profession, specialising in Design and Technology
in secondary schools. I am interested in education policy and
promoting quality design in our built environment .
