Schools Deficit Budgets 2011/12

To consider a report of the Assistant Director for Children’s Services and Learning seeking approval for deficit budget for 2011-2012 for various schools.

 

The Southampton Scheme for Financing Schools, made in accordance with the Schools Standards & Framework Act 1998, makes provision for schools setting deficit budgets in accordance with DfE rules.  As part of the Southampton Scheme, schools must request Cabinet Member approval to set a deficit budget.
