Southampton Boat Show

PSP Southampton Boat show 11 Boat Show image
Make the most of the last days of summer at the PSP Southampton Boat Show. From 16 - 25 September 2011, the UK’s leading outdoor boat show returns to Mayflower Park, Southampton bringing hundreds of boats, exhibitors and visitors together on the south coast. It provides authentic experiences both on and off the water for a fun-filled day out for boaters, trade and the whole family.

It’s all GO on the water at the 2011 PSP Southampton Boat Show - the ideal place to meet, try, test, buy and play! More spectacular than ever, it’s a great family day out with over 1000 boats on display. Once again, Europe’s largest Show Marina is the heart of the action. You can have a go yourself on the ever-popular Try a Boat, whilst in Get Afloat, future sailing stars can enjoy a 1½ hour free taster session, under expert supervision. Or for a touch of style and luxury, be part of the Platinum Experience, in association with Princess. For avid ‘seafoodies’, the Sea Kitchen and Oyster Festival provide a true taste of the sea. And the Boat Parade offers a daily spectacle of well-known boats cruising around the Show.

There’s also team racing from some of the UK’s top competitors; clinics that offer you the chance to meet and learn from the experts; a climbing tower; Try a Dive and Authors Live – where well-known writers read passages from their own works. And remember, kids go FREE!
