Interested in making a difference to children and families in Southampton? Come to Southampton City Council’s recruitment event on 6 March
If you are interested in making a real difference to children and families, Southampton City Council would like to meet you at recruitment event being held on Tuesday 6 March 2018 from 4:00pm–8:00pm at the Civic Centre, Southampton.
Everyone is welcome and we are particularly interested in meeting qualified social workers, including those with more than two years’ experience, anyone training to be a social worker and early years practitioners. We’d also like to meet those wanting find out more about our service and working with us.
At the event, you will find out more about our Children and Families Service; meet managers and staff and find out about opportunities that are available. Graham Robb, the national youth justice lead and an expert in restorative approaches, will also be giving a presentation on restorative approaches in the city.
Cllr Jordan, Cabinet Member for Children's Social Care, comments: “If you want to play a key role in helping children and families to thrive, Southampton City Council wants to speak to you about job opportunities.
