Southampton Crematorium is set in natural woodland hosting beautiful and peaceful surroundings with a serene Garden of Rest where loved ones can go to remember the people they have lost.
Bassett Green Road
The crematorium offers two chapels, East chapel, which can accommodate approximately 126 seated, and West chapel, which can accommodate approximately 45 seated. Both chapels have excellent facilities including their own car parks, refreshment and toilet facilities, as well as enclosed areas for floral tributes that can be viewed after the service has been held.
Garden of Remembrance
The Garden of Remembrance is open between 8am and 8pm and the Book of Remembrance is open between 9am and 5pm throughout the year and staff are available to help with enquiries between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Southampton Crematorium has a central location and is easily accessible whether you are arriving by public transport, car or plane.

Getting to Southampton Crematorium
If you are planning on driving to Southampton crematorium, both chapels have their own car parks.
You could also use public transport to travel to the crematorium.
To get to the crematorium by bus you need to catch the U2 to the crematorium/Bencraft stop. It is then a short walk from the bus stop to the crematorium.
If you are planning on travelling by train, the nearest train station is Southampton Central. You will then need to get the bus from the station to the crematorium. The U2 leaves from Mayflower Halls every 40 minutes and the journey to the crematorium takes half an hour.
