SotonSafe (Z-Berth) Plan
As a requirement of the Radiation (Emergency Preparedness and Public Information) Regulations 2001 (REPPIR) the authority has developed the SotonSafe Z-Berth Plan. This is required to ensure appropriate actions are taken in the unlikely event of a radiation emergency whilst a nuclear powered submarine is in the port of Southampton.
The Sotonsafe Annual Public Meeting will be held 11.05am Tuesday 11 November 2008, Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Southampton SO17 1LY
