Domestic Violence and Abuse
If you are worried about someone knowing you have visited this website please read the document on the right hand side of this page called ‘Keeping yourself safe’.
Domestic violence (DV) can happen between you and your partner or ex-partner. It can also happen between other family members. It can be a threat, violence or abuse. DV is often not a one-off event. It involves actions that are abusive or controlling. One person often has power over another. As a victim of DV you may lose the freedom to live your life without fear in the way that you want to.
These pages provide information and advice about domestic violence and abuse, and services available in the Southampton area.
