Community safety

We all have the right to live our lives within a safe environment.

Improving community safety is one of our highest priorities.

We believe that keeping communities safe involves more than just preventing crime and disorder; we must also stimulate social and economic change. We realise that if we are to succeed in making our communities safer, we must all work together. These pages tell you how the council is working with partner agencies, the business community and local residents to make Southampton a safer city.
