Consumers and Businesses need to be certain that the goods they buy and sell are safe.
Most consumer goods have to comply to standards controlling how they are made, and that appropriate instructions for use are provided. Sometimes toys and goods which comply with the production standards can be faulty, or one individual item might be unsafe.
