I married in a church - can I get a replacement marriage certificate from the register office?

The registers used at the church are handed in to the local Register Office once they are completed. Sometimes this can take many years, depending on how many marriages take place at the church. If the church is still holding the register you will need to contact the Minister at the church who can issue a certificate for you. To find out if we have the register you can contact us.

Head towards the city centre and follow the brown signs for 'West Quay' and 'Waterfront'. We are situated next to the Maritime Museum which is on the corner of Bugle Street opposite Dock Gate 7. There is limited car parking in the office courtyard. There is on street parking in Bugle Street (pay at meter).
