Updating your details

You can update your SmartCities account with a change of address or a change of name.

If you have moved to a new address remaining within the city, or you have remained living outside the city, you can update your account by logging into your personal information page and selecting "edit”. Please note, you can only do this if you have provided SmartCities with your email address.

Alternatively, you can email us your name, old and new address and SmartCities account number.

If you have moved into the city, you will need to provide us with a document from the last three months that has your new address on. If you have moved out of the city, please email us.

If you want to update your card with a change of name, you will need to provide evidence before a new card can be issued. This can include a marriage certificate or change of name deed.

You can email or post us a copy of this evidence. Alternatively, you can take it to a Southampton City Council library, or Gateway at One Guildhall Square from where it can be copied and sent to the SmartCities office.
