Building Control Services is delivered through a Partnership arrangement that operates for the benefit of residents and customers of both Southampton and Eastleigh Councils.
The Building Control team are responsible for ensuring that building work is carried out in accordance with building regulations.
Building regulations are designed to ensure minimum standards relating to health and welfare of persons in and around buildings. Requirements also apply to energy conservation/sustainability matters and make provision for buildings to be suitable for the less able.
Our team can advise you on a wide range of development projects, offering you the opportunity to discuss your plans before you submit them, through to the completion of your project.
