NEW - Changes to Planning Validation Requirements
The Council’s Planning Department is periodically required to review how it validates planning applications and as such the Planning and Rights of Way Panel have approved a revised local list of validation requirements (checklists). The revised checklists seek to simplify and speed up the planning application validation process but will not affect how the Council will determine a valid application. The revised checklists will take effect from 3rd March 2014. Full details of the changes are outlined below:

NEW - The Community Infrastructure Levy Charging Schedule will take effect from 1st September 2013. From this date all applications that are CIL liable in accordance with the Charging Schedule will need to pay the applicable CIL charge. Further information about CIL can be found on the CIL webpage.
