The Core Strategy Partial Review (CSPR) is a partial revision of the adopted Core Strategy. The Review is being prepared in parallel with the City Centre Action Plan.
Following a realistic assessment of which developments are likely to be completed by 2026, a Partial Review was proposed to reduce the target for new office floorspace across the city to 110,000 sq m. Further amendments were made to reduce the target for new retail floorspace to 100,000 sq m. The CSPR also includes a Presumption in favour of Sustainable Development.
The Core Strategy Partial Review and City Centre Action Plan were submitted on 19 December 2013
Background evidence documents and representations are available on the CCAP webpages
