School Crossing Patrol pledges were introduced in 2006. In partnership with Southampton City Council's School Crossing Patrol Officer, pledges were implemented with schools and pupils to celebrate and support our School Crossing Patrol staff. Schools pledge to keep the SCPs informed of inset days, invite them to special assemblies and, most importantly, commit to using the SCPs with courtesy, respect and politeness.
