Payment for parking in the city is usually available at the car park or at the roadside parking machines. There is also a service provided for paying penalty charge notices (PCNs) (sometimes referred to as a parking fines). This page gives you information on how you can pay your penalty charge notice.

Charges
If you pay your PCN within 14 days of issue then PCN charges of £70 or £50 are discounted to £35 and £25 respectively. Please see the Park Right document below for a full breakdown of the two tier PCN charging system and the relevant contraventions.

You can pay your penalty charge notice in the following ways:

By phone using a credit card
By cheque or postal order made payable to Southampton City Council and sent to Representations Team, PO BOX 1105, Southampton, SO14 7YG.
In person at Gateway, Civic Centre Mon, Tue, Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm, Wed 9.30am - 5.30pm and Thur 8.30am - 7pm.
