SS Tunisian

15-Tunisian

The Sheltering Home in Liverpool sent two parties of children a year to Canada. Frank left Liverpool on 22nd February 1906. He travelled on the SS Tunisian, a vessel of the Allan Line which was used to transport parties of children from Liverpool to Canada. The journey usually took around 10 days. This scale drawing of the Tunisian is by maritime historian Captain John Isherwood.
