Guildhall Square, Midsummer nights dreamCultural Quarter
The Cultural Quarter is a key part of our wider plans for the Regeneration and Economic Development of the City. The Cultural Quarter proposals are helping to bring in around £175m of private and public investment to this area of the city.

TN-TitanicThe Titanic
The Titanic sailed from her company's home port of Southampton on her maiden voyage on 10 April 1912. On the 15 April, she sank with great loss of life after striking an iceberg. The city remembers The Titanic with the development of a permanent exhibition home.

TN-OlympicsThe Olympic Games 2012
Southampton celebrated on 24th August 2008 when the Beijing Olympic Games drew to a close and the Olympic Flag was handed over to London and the United Kingdom in readiness for 2012.

TN-Tudor-HouseTudor House Museum
Work on Phase 2 of the museum's refurbishment will be completed in Summer 2011. Westgate Hall opens (formerly Tudor Merchants Hall) re-opens in October 2010.
