Public Lift at Central Library out of action until end of May 2014
A new lift will be installed at the library over the next three months, starting from Monday 24 March, with work due for completion at the end of May. Unfortunately whilst the work is carried out the lift to the lower ground floor and 1st floor will not be accessible to wheelchair users or people who have difficulty using the stairs. If you require information/books housed on these floors staff will be happy to locate and collect them on your behalf. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Bitterne Library
The library will be closed on Thursday 22 May - it will be used as a polling station in the local elections.

May Bank Holiday Opening Hours
Our libraries will be closed on Monday 5 and 26 May. We will be open as usual on Saturday 3 and 24 May.
