Southampton's Favourite Book Award 2011

Voting has now closed for Southampton’s Favourite Book Award 2011. The votes will be counted and plans for the Award ceremony are underway. The winner will be announced at the Award Ceremony in January 2012 and details posted on this web page.

Information about the Award

Photograph of The Favourite Book 2010 Award CeremonyThe Southampton's Favourite Book Award 2011 reflects the enjoyment children in Southampton have with reading. It is an annual award for the best book published in the previous year by British authors.

This years shortlisted titles were:
• Young Sherlock Holmes: Death Cloud by Andrew Lane
• The School of Night: Demon Storm by Justin Richards
• The Quest of the Warrior Sheep by Christine & Christopher Russell
• TimeRiders by Alex Scarrow
• H.I.V.E: Rogue by Mark Walden
