Tolkien Reading Group
Meet on the second and fourth Saturday of every month 1-3.30pm

Group Description
The group concentrates entirely on the works of JRR Tolkien. They have just finished reading Lord of the Rings and are now reading The Appendices. They do not read fan fiction or dress up. They read a chapter or section in advance and then discuss. Discussions take them into topics such as Tolkien's sources, comparative mythology, social structures, religion, ethics, literary form and style.
