Winning entry from Manish
The Southampton Libraries Prize for Art is a new project to inspire children to discover and respond to the wildlife on their doorstep. Children were encouraged to submit a piece of art in any medium to their local library between January 1 and March 31.
We have had a fantastic response, everything from clay models and drawings, to many stunning creations using felt, tissue paper and paper plates!
We are delighted to announce the prize winners are:
Manish Arunchalam - for his superb 3D clay model of a blackbird
Charis Saer - for her remarkable drawing of a brown mouse.

All 4 winners will be presented with their prizes at 1pm on Saturday 12th May 2012 in the Central Children’s Library, Civic Centre, Southampton.
