Two out of three people in the UK want to see more Paralympic sport, according to the results of London 2012 survey.

With only one year to go until the London 2012 Paralympic Games, the University of Southampton in collaboration with local partners is delivering an exciting and informative conference on access to disability sport. The aim of the conference is to ensure that people make the most of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, as well as the legacy that will follow and are prepared for the increased interest in disability sports. We will be running a series of workshops facilitated by experts in their fields focusing on; Breaking Down Barriers, Facilities and Equipment and Making the Most of London 2012. Another conference highlight will be coaching demonstrations and workshops delivered by recreational and elite disability sports coaches. We know of no other conference addressing these important issues!
