The interactive display area traces the history of the Common, dating back to the bronze age, and find out more about the history of the Hawthorns. In the main display area there is information about the different habitats on the Common and the plants and animals that live there. There is a large interactive map shows the different habitats. Also a touch screen display provides more in depth information about each habitat and the wildlife inhabitants. In the late spring/early summer we have live pictures from one of the bird nesting boxes and there is some live exhibits of some of the creatures that live on the Common. There are also three quizzes you can do around the display area to see if you were paying attention!
