Sport and Recreation and partners

	Active Southampton Active Southampton is a partnership of organisations who want to promote sport and physical activity across the whole city. Find out all the latest news on sporting initiatives offered in the city.
	Oaklands Pool A centre of excellence for swimming, this venue is open to people of all abilities and fitness levels who want to improve their health and general well being, whatever their age.
	Sports Development The Sports Development function of the city council is now managed by Solent University.
	Active Workplaces This aims to increase adult participation in physical activity at three of Southampton's largest employers, as well as small and medium sized business in the city to help get their workforces more active. Activities such as sailing, boxercise and zumba take place before and after work and at lunchtime.
